About

A real platform, not just a marketing page.

UptimeLuna is a SvelteKit dashboard backed by a .NET web API, with checks executed by independent runner services rather than the API itself. Here's how the pieces fit together.

01

Independent runner regions

Checks execute on separate runner servers that a platform admin approves and assigns to a region. Runners never touch the database directly — results are reported back to the main API, which verifies the runner was actually assigned that check before accepting it.

02

Confirmed before it alerts

A monitor checked from multiple regions only shows as down once every selected region agrees. A partial failure names the specific region that failed, instead of paging you for a routing blip somewhere else.

03

Multi-tenant from the ground up

Organizations — not individual accounts — own monitors, contacts and status pages. Team-tier orgs invite up to five seats with Owner/Admin/Member roles; Free and Starter stay single-seat by design.

04

🇨🇦 Data stays in Canada

Your account and monitoring data are stored 100% on Canadian servers — nothing leaves the country. Data safety and residency aren’t an add-on here, they’re the default.

Alerts before excuses.
Seconds, not status meetings.

We built UptimeLuna because most monitoring tools make you choose between something cheap enough to actually turn on and something capable enough to trust with a real incident. Free tiers elsewhere ping a homepage and call it a day; the tools that do more cost enough that a small team ends up back on a spreadsheet and a prayer. Every check type, every alert channel and every SEO rule described above runs the same way regardless of which plan an organization is on — paid tiers raise monitor counts, shorten check intervals and add regions and seats, they don't gate the basics behind a paywall. That's a deliberate choice, not a temporary launch promotion: the architecture above — confirmed alerts, isolated runners, multi-tenant organizations, Canadian-only data residency — is the same architecture whether an account is free or on Team, because reliability shouldn't be a premium feature.

That same philosophy carries into the SEO and email-verification sides of the product, not just uptime checks. A crawl that only surfaces Critical issues on the free tier and hides the rest behind an upgrade wall isn't actually telling you the truth about your site — so every severity, Critical through Info, is visible on every plan; higher tiers add crawl frequency and history, not visibility. Email verification works the same way: credits don't expire, and confirming your own alert contacts never costs one. None of this is charity — it's the bet that a tool people actually trust with a real incident is worth more, long-term, than a tool that nickel-and-dimes the features that make it trustworthy in the first place.
